2026 is only halfway done, and viewers have already been treated to an impressive slew of shows spanning nearly every genre. With plenty more expected before the year wraps up, there's still time to catch up on what's already aired.

'The Burbs'
Created by "Dead to Me" writer Celeste Hughey, "The Burbs" is a mystery comedy loosely inspired by the 1989 film of the same name starring Tom Hanks.
Starring Keke Palmer, the series follows married couple Samira (Palmer) and Rob (Jack Whitehall) as they relocate from the city to Rob's childhood home to raise their newborn.

But the quiet suburb of Hinkley Hills isn't quite the fresh start Samira had envisioned. Not only is she the only Black resident in the neighborhood, but the derelict Victorian house looming across the street unsettles her from day one.
Things take a darker turn when Samira begins to suspect that Rob is keeping secrets — prompting her to dig deeper into both her husband and their new hometown.
"The Burbs" is currently streaming on Peacock.
'The Testaments'
A spinoff of the acclaimed drama "The Handmaid's Tale," "The Testaments" transports viewers back to Gilead four years after the War of Massachusetts. The series centers on Agnes McKenzie (Chase Infiniti), a 16-year-old who has spent her life sheltered as the daughter of a high-ranking Gilead commander.

Enrolled at the elite school run by Aunt Lydia — the Emmy-winning role once again played by Ann Dowd — Agnes is training alongside other girls known as "Plums" to become future Gilead wives. For now, she seems content to accept her fate.
That changes with the arrival of Daisy (Lucy Halliday), an outsider whose presence upends everything Agnes believed about her world. The result is a gripping coming-of-age story that has quickly won over audiences.
"The Testaments" is streaming now on Disney+.
'Margo's Got Money Troubles'
Adapted from Rufi Thorpe's novel of the same name and helmed by David E. Kelley, "Margo's Got Money Troubles" follows a college dropout and aspiring writer who turns to OnlyFans to support herself and her newborn son.
Elle Fanning stars as Margo, with Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman playing her parents — a former Hooters waitress and a professional wrestler battling sobriety, respectively. The dramedy treats sex work as legitimate labor without glamorizing it, pushing viewers to reckon with its harder realities alongside its upsides.

Anchored by a strong cast and a devoted fanbase, this character-driven series has earned its buzz.
"Margo's Got Money Trouble" is available to stream on Apple TV+.
Whether your taste runs toward suburban paranoia, dystopian intrigue, or messy family dramedy, this trio proves 2026's television lineup is only getting stronger — with plenty more still to come before the year is out.
