Kaley Cuoco Expecting Second Child with Fiancé Tom Pelphrey

The Emmy-nominated actress has announced that she and fiancé Tom Pelphrey are expecting their second child — and have revealed the baby's sex in a joyful Instagram post.

Kaley Cuoco is growing her family! The 40-year-old and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, are expecting their second child together — and the couple wasted no time sharing the exciting news, along with a sweet gender reveal.

The pair are already parents to daughter Matilda, who celebrated her third birthday in April. Cuoco took to Instagram on Wednesday, June 10, sharing a lengthy carousel of photos and clips documenting her pregnancy journey.

The opening image captures the couple beaming with joy as they huddle close around a round cake completely encrusted in a rainbow of colorful sprinkles, their young curly-haired daughter by their side.

Atop the dessert, the words "It's a…" tease the announcement — with the answer hidden inside. A deliberate scoop cut into the center exposes a pink interior, confirming that another girl is on the way.

Little Matilda gleefully reaches her tiny, sprinkle-filled hand toward her mouth as the family celebrates on what appears to be an outdoor terrace. "Completing our little family , what a dream come true ! 💖," Cuoco wrote in the caption.

"This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways , but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger! 🤦🏼‍♀️😆."

The "Big Bang Theory" alum also included a series of mirror selfies chronicling the growth of her baby bump, as well as a clip from an ultrasound session that offered a glimpse of her growing child.

Cuoco had previously hinted at expanding her family roughly a year after Matilda was born. During a 2024 interview, the "Flight Attendant" star revealed that she and Pelphrey were in no rush to walk down the aisle — and that a second baby might actually arrive before their wedding. It appears that prediction has now come true.

When asked whether any of her dogs would make it into their ceremony, Cuoco laughed off the question, admitting that she and Pelphrey "haven't started planning anything yet" and that "maybe another kid will have to come first."

"We're gonna go way out of order. That's our plan," she added. "I have four dogs now, and a [1-year-old baby], and a Tom — it's a lot." Asked whether she was content simply enjoying life as a fiancée for the foreseeable future, she offered a firm, "Yes."

The couple's romance began in April 2022, after being set up by their mutual manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph, who believed they would be "perfect for each other." When the two finally met in person at the "Ozark" premiere, Cuoco knew immediately that something was different.

"I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight," she recalled. "We were immediately connected. I do feel like I've known him my whole life, but I wasn't ready for him."

"We're ready to build a life together," she added at the time.

The pair went Instagram-official the following month. Pelphrey eventually popped the question in August 2024, with Cuoco announcing their engagement on Instagram Stories — a selfie of the two of them, her hand raised to show off her new ring, captioned simply, "Amazing weekend."
