Bunny Xo Says Jelly Roll’s Daughter Bailee Is ‘Mad’ About the Divorce
Amid all the headlines surrounding her split from Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo is making one thing clear: her focus is on the kids. She's speaking up for Bailee Ann, and she isn't sugarcoating how the teenager is feeling.

Jelly Roll's daughter Bailee Ann is struggling with her parents' divorce — and Bunnie Xo isn't shying away from saying so.

Jelly, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed to end his marriage to Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair had already separated days earlier, on May 9, according to court records.
News of the split made headlines last week, with Bunnie addressing it on her "Dumb Blonde" podcast. While she has repeatedly stressed that she and Jelly remain on good terms, she's been candid about the emotional toll the separation has taken on their family.

Bailee, 18, is Jelly's eldest child from a previous relationship.
He also has a nine-year-old son, Noah, from another relationship. When Jelly and Bunnie got together, Bunnie stepped into a mother-figure role for both kids — a bond that has made the divorce all the more complicated for Bailee.
"The only woman she has had consistently in her life, she feels, is being taken from her and it's a weird transition that we're going to have to navigate," Bunnie said on the June 18 episode.

She also acknowledged that Bailee's frustration isn't directed at just one parent. As the more disciplinarian figure in the household, Bunnie has borne some of that anger — but Jelly hasn't been spared either.

"Of course she's mad at me because I was always the [expletive] disciplining parent in the relationship because he's [expletive] fun dad all the time," Bunnie said, before adding, "She's mad at her dad because of what he did. And hello, she [expletuve] deserves to feel that way."

Rather than try to manage Bailee's reaction, Bunnie is giving her daughter the space to work through it — Instagram unfollows and all.
"So, she's going to have emotions," she said. "She's going to unfollow me on [expletive] Instagram, and then she's going to text me back the next day and tell me to follow her back. That's just how it is right now."
Her patience on the matter appears limitless. "I don't care. That's my baby," Bunnie said. "I love her. If she wants to be mad at me for [expletive] two years, I'll deal with it. But when she's ready to come back, I will always be here for her."

Bunnie also shared that Bailee has her own message for the public amid the media scrutiny surrounding the family.
"Her big thing is, and I get this, is we need more empathy in this world and people need to stop treating us the way that they're treating us because we are human," Bunnie said. "She's like, 'I get that we're public figures, but at the same, stop expecting so much from us because you don't deserve it.'"

The close relationship between Bunnie and Bailee has been well-documented on social media. Just days before the breakup, on May 3, the two joined Jelly for a transition video ahead of Bailee's prom night.
The clip, set to Reba McEntire's "Fancy," featured the trio before and after changing into their formal looks for the occasion. In hindsight, the timing has given fans pause.

"Six days after this video was posted Jelly Roll filed for divorce. This proves things are not what they seem. Don't believe everything you see on social media friends," one person wrote.
"Crazy sad you both let the world and Hollywood destroy the most valuable thing you will ever own. I still love ya both hopefully you guys stay friends. ❤️," another said, while a third observed, "Jelly didnt look at Bunnie once..Just his daughter... Bunnie looked at Jelly though [sic]."
